A survey conducted in January 2009 proved the effectiveness of moxibustion with salt in periarthritis of the shoulder. Moxibustion was more effective that electroacupuncture points TA9, IG15 and TA14, in which the analgesic effect was shown to be better realção in the moxibustion.
The treatment with moxibustion, electroacupuncture in earnings surpassed the active function of the shoulder and analgesia (93.0% and 97.7%, respectively), while the analgesic effect temporary. The electroacupuncture group had 93.0% and 88.4% effective and active role in pain respectively.
